Cocoa Finish

Gentle and feather-light, yet generous and forthright. Stem-focused with nutty, papaya, toasted tones. We launched Cocoa Finish in an approach inspired by sustainability and forward-looking choices. When florals come to pass, and as the liquid gets warmer, a languorous melon holds the note magnificently.

Drawn from the stems of our exclusive Gyokuro cultivar. Separated at the steaming stage to undergo a further time under heat to extract more flavour from the flesh. The plants underwent full three weeks of gradual shading and harvest took place between April 21 and April 27. A full week earlier than expected due to a warm spring.
